Four Elements is a great hotel if you want to ne in that area.

Four Elements hotel is a very nice place to stay. Close to some nice restaurants, and easy to get away from there. The restaurant downstairs is nice as well. To rooms are great.

I had some issues with adding breakfast. The first day i got a rate of 19 Euroos, the second day it was suddenly 23 Euroos. I asked why it was like that. The staff dealing with the breakfast told me to check this with reception... why? He could do for me. He only could tell me that this is what it costs... Thats not what I wanna hear.

I booked the stay for my parents, my mom had birthday. the employees were going above and beyond to help my parents to find a room that works for them (diabled, overweight). And they sang in the morning for my Mom at her birthday - it made her very happy. thank you !! Extra thanks to Mohammed, Emma and Cosmas

The disability room has only 140 wide beds - for two people with disabilities (and with that being overweight as they cannot do sports) the bed is way too small. The staff were helpful to find another room for parents as they didn't fit in.

It was clean and accessible

Stupid parking code don’t work. When you are in rush you have to go to reception again and wait in the queue to get it sorted. I paid for parking and I should expect easy and if not help line from the parking. That’s not the case.

Silent, beautiful place, easy to reach a Center. Good price and quality

This is a great place to stay in Amsterdam for reasons. At first it’s good for people with walking disabilities. Yes; it’s quite far from a city Center, but you can reach it in 25 minutes starting from Amsterdam Centraal with a tram. The price is also MUCH lower. Old town hotels are kind of twice more expensive for the same room size and they don’t really look for a quality because they know, anyway someone will book a room. This hotel is situated in a modern building with a LIFT and good air conditioning. (I find old houses great to watch them, but not to stay with those bad air conditioning, narrow stairs and thousands of tourists in front of your window). Window views are good at least in three directions- there is a Lake and a channel with little private boats. Breakfast was great and coffee was good. A helpful staff! I want to thank for understanding and bringing slippers to my elderly parents.

During my previous stay everything was just perfect. This time maybe our rooms were of lower level? I’m not sure, so I blame no one. BUT it’s a 4 stars hotel (!) and this time we had no even slippers, I’m not telling about a bathrobe. Guys, slippers costs almost nothing, that would be great if we shouldn’t bring our own shoes or walk barefoot. Anyway thanks your great workers to bing us some.

Wonderful

We just stayed for one night and got to enjoy a cozy beautiful room in this hotel. It is a little bit further from the center so you definitely need a taxi/uber to get there but it's a nice and quiet area. The restaurant and bar were also great!

You should probably find some better place to stay.

I liked that there was a table to put my laptop on in our room. The hotel restaurant waiter who spoke Ukrainian was nice. When we asked to bring more tea to our room, the staff did it.

There's a very small amount of umbrellas for the whole hotel (like 5 or 10). If you ask the staff they tell you that they all were taken already and they can't do anything. There's no fridge in the room. We also had a problem with the light bulbs in our room, they were blinking. When we asked the staff to fix it, they did it only partially. There was no possibility to change the water pressure in the shower (it was at the MAX level which wasn't comfortable). The cleaning staff couldn't do their job while we were out for several hours, so when we returned to the room they tried to quickly clean something. It was cold in the room, but the air condition can only cool it, so you should bring some warm clothes and regularly drink something warm. The hotel staircase is not safe as you can enter the hotel and then any floor without having a room card. Also, be prepared that sometimes there could be explosions of firecrackers near the hotel (not only during the winter holidays time).

Location was great and the food was delicious! Also the staffs were very kind, especially the restaurant team members.

Issue with the TV, no wifi in the TV and issue with casting from mobile. Communicated this issue to the hotel staffs but no actions were taken and simply said it is not working. This is something which hotels should have and mostly have.

Sleek, clean, private, but rather overdesigned and shallow in some regards.

- Clean, friendly, and accommodating staff; quiet rooms, comfy beds (the pillows are mediocre though). - Though many tend to complain about the diversity of the dishes served at breakfast, it was more than enough for me. They have a basic selection of just about anything you would expect for both vegans and carnivores. - Privacy. If you don't want to be disturbed, you won't be. Each room has a small light panel at the entrance that can either be set to green (if you want your room cleaned) or red (if you do not want to be disturbed). The staff seem to respect these states, so therefore, if you want your room cleaned, make sure you signal as such, or else no one will tend to your overflowing trash bin. You also have a small and intuitive safe in your room to store your more valuable possessions.

- The walls, when not obscured by furniture, are bland and grey. Moreover, they still harbor construction marks, meaning that no one may have bothered to add at least one layer of paint after they finished construction. While not that important, it gives an otherwise sleek and modern hotel a shoddy vibe. - The hotel seems to have been "overtechnologized" for the sake of it, creating more problems than solving. What I mean by that is that some of the room's facilities, such as the light switches and more glaringly, the shower, have a pointlessly difficult and obtuse electronic design. For example, the lights in the bathroom turn on automatically BUT do not turn off when no longer detecting movement. In order to turn off the bathroom light, you need to press a GENERAL turn off button at the entrance of the room that turns off ALL the lights in the room. You can still turn the lights back on via the specialized buttons next to the general one, but still, that is too many steps for a simple operation that the good old flippable light switch does flawlessly to this day. - And then there's the shower, which first of all, is a cabin without a sliding door except for a fixed glass sheet that does very little at minimizing spillage. Prepare to splash water all over the bathroom when showering unless you are VERY careful, but even so, small puddles still find a way around that. Secondly, the shower has a digital interface with touchscreen buttons that allow you to turn it on or off, and 2 handles that regulate water flow and temperature (the pressure is very low by the way, perhaps they set it like that to mitigate the spillage resulted from the cabin's lackluster design). The way the shower works is not immediately apparent, and you'll need to experiment a little until you learn how it works. Moreover, the touchscreen buttons don't always work, because you know, your fingers are wet, resulting in a lot of trial and error for only a basic shower.

The wifi did not work, in both rooms (8th floor), we reported it to the receptionist but nothing happened. No way to watch our movies other than on the IPad.... Not acceptable for a hotel of this standard. The staff was not rude but also not friendly/smiling, except for one gentleman. One big stain on the sustainability concept: the coffee pods made of aluminium and plastic and no particular container to recycle them! The bathroom door 1 meter away from the bed: the light in the bathroom is automatic and tends to go on in the night when you move.
